HELPING YOUR STUDENT BE SUCCESFUL IN PHOTOGRAPHY

Thank you for helping with your child's education. There are a couple of things you can do that will help your student be successful in photography.

1. Be sure your child has a camera to use. Any digital camera will be fine. The only thing that won't work is a cell phone camera. The files from cell phone cameras are too small and compressed. It also doesn't have some of the features a standard camera has. A case and some sort of wrist or neck strap can be helpful. I see a lot of cameras get broken at school.

2. Remind your student to bring the files to class the first day of the week. They can be on a CD, flash drive, or mp3 player. We spend the majority of the class time working with the files that they shoot at home. When they forget them it creates some challenges.

Thanks for the help,
